I find Malwarebytes advertising confusing and possibly deceptive. I contacted customer support twice about this infuriating issue and never received a reply. Clearly there is malware in my system, the kind of thing that Malwarebytes advertises itself as catching. And within a months or two the same thing happens and Yahoo again hijacks my system. I have to manually go into Google settings, delete Yahoo, and put Google back as my default. ![]() ![]() For instance my Google Search default search engine regularly gets hijacked by Yahoo Search. In the past two years it has not found one piece of malware, though there definitely has been malware in my system. I really doubt Malwarebytes' effectiveness in finding malware.
